Admissions & Grants

LSIS accepts new studentstransfereesreturning students, and international students with good moral standing. No students shall be denied admission because of age, gender, nationality, religious beliefs, or political affiliation. The only entry point to LSIS is via admission tests. On the other hand, admission is dependent upon the number of slots available.

The school also awards scholarship & financial grants to students with excellent academic performance.


 

Scholarships, Grants & Subsidies

Living Stone International School (LSIS) commits itself to take part in building a progressive nation by producing graduates who embrace academic excellence as a primary tool for social transformation. As such, LSIS aligns its mission with that of the national government through the Department of Education. In this light, scholarships and grants are awarded to qualified students from both private and public schools.

 

Application Requirements & Qualifications

1) Duly accomplished LSIS Scholarship Application Form (can be secured from the Admissions Office)

2) Certificate of Rank – This document should be written on the school letter head; it serves the purpose of informing LSIS of the academic standing of the student in the entire graduating batch and must be duly signed by the School Principal.

3) Letter of Recommendation (with the school letter head) from any of: The Class Adviser, Guidance Counselor, or School Principal

4) A copy of the student’s Progress Report Card

5) LSIS Admission Test Results (STANINE of 7 or higher)

6) Certificate of Good Moral with the school letter head, duly signed by the School Principal

7) 2 pcs. Picture (size: 2”x2”)

 

Scholarship Conditions

A student granted scholarship may continue to receive the entitlements until he graduates or finishes high school subject upon the following conditions:

  1. He/She must be able to maintain the required Honors Grade or General Average Grade ranging from 90 to 98 (depends on the grant).

  2. He/She maintains a Conduct Grade of 85% or higher, or “Always Observed” (AO) general ratings.

  3. He/She must have no disciplinary infractions whether committed in or out of the school.

  4. He/She must demonstrate active involvement in school- and/or community-related activities

Special Note: Student-transferees (incoming Grades 8, 9, or 10) who intend to apply for scholarships and grants will be accommodated ONLY after one (1) year of residency in LSIS.


Entitlements

  • FULL Scholarship – an entitlement that grants 100% FREE tuition and all miscellaneous fees

  • PARTIAL Scholarship – an entitlement that comes in the form of either 50% or 100% discount on the Tuition fee ONLY

Educational Service Contracting (ESC) Scholarship

ESC stands for Education Service Contract under the Government Assistance for Secondary & Tertiary Private Education (GASTPE) through FAPE or PEAC; it comes in the form of subsidy, which automatically comes in the form of payment for the tuition fee for Junior High School students from Grade 7 to 10; or, in the form of vouchers applied as payment in the tuition fees for Senior High School students from Grade 11 to 12.
